The first L-CNG refuelling station, located in the Port of Barcelona, was installed at the end of 2017 and is fully operative since then.

One of the natural gas refueling stations develop by the consortium co-financed by the European Union, ECO-GATE, is this Naturgy’s L-CNG refueling station, that is located in the Zona Franca (Free Zone) of Barcelona (Calle B, nº 13-15). This node of land transport infrastructure comprises a network of railways and highways. The Barcelona Ring Road Round passes right next to the Zona Franca (Free Zone), providing immediate access to the main road network. The station supplies LNG and CNG, for heavy duty vehicles and also for light vehicles.
